The XD and XE Falcons marked a bold new era for Ford. Launched in 1979, the squared-off XD brought the Falcon into the ’80s – big, tough and unmistakably Australian, right when buyers were turning their backs on the smaller, Euro-styled Commodore.

The XD didn’t just win hearts in the showroom – it made headlines on the track. Dick Johnson’s infamous rock-incident at Bathurst in 1980 could’ve ended his career, but instead it launched him onto the professional racing stage and a career with Ford that continues to this day.

For Australian orders, your item will usually arrive within 2–4 weeks of purchase (excluding pre-order items). My item hasn't arrived - what can I do?

For back issues, for the initial issue of a post-dated subscription and for merchandise orders in Australia, your order will be sent via Australia Post – a parcel will be sent via eParcel which requires a signature on delivery. Please allow 7-10 business days for the request to be processed, despatched from our warehouse and to arrive with you, starting from the date on your order confirmation email.

For our international customers, your order will be dispatched via a combination of international airmail courier and local postal services, which doesn’t have tracking or require a signature. Please allow 10 to 12 weeks from the date on your order confirmation email.

If your item has taken longer than this to arrive, contact us with the specifics of your order and we’ll follow it up.
